"A cemetery may be considered as abandoned when all or practically all of the bodies have been removed therefrom and no
bodies have been buried therein for a great many years, and the cemetery has been so long neglected as entirely to lose its identity
as such, and is no longer known, recognized and respected by the public as a cemetery. 1953 OAG 2978."

Mark Morton, "The Gravestone Guardian of Ohio" -- will be at the Friends (Quaker) Cemetery on June 27, 2013

Quoting from the Champaign County Library's Facebook Page:

"Mark Morton, owner of the Gravestone Guardians of Ohio, will be speaking on the subject of tombstone restoration on Thursday, June 27 at 6:30 pm at the North Lewisburg Branch Library. He will walk attendees through the complete restoration of a cemetery and show the process that gives dignity back to those who came before. We will also take a "Field Trip" to the Friends' cemetery located at the Branch Library to see first hand examples of tombstone restoration."
