Announcing an upcoming meeting featuring a presentation about Tombstone symbolism and photography:  

 
"Terry Hart will discuss the meaning of symbols and icons found on American tombstones. 

An understanding of the symbolism may help researchers learn more about their ancestors and better appreciate the actual artwork of tombstones.
