Several NE Ohio Chapters of the D.A.R., War of 1812, and S.A.R. Raised More Than Enough Funds to Repair Vandalized Grave Markers at Erie Street Cemetery in Cleveland

"The New Connecticut Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution of Painesville, along with the Moses Cleaveland, Hannah Luther Bosworth, Martha Devotion Huntington, Molly Chittendon, Shaker and Western Reserve-Lakewood DAR chapters, Peter Navarre Chapter U.S.D. 1812Western Reserve Sons of the American Revolution chapter and the Old Stone Church, collected $3,516.30 to repair damaged monuments at Erie Street Cemetery."
The Erie Street Cemetery is Cleveland's oldest cemetery in existence.
