It was my pleasure to visit the Old Burying Ground in Greenfield (Highland County, Ohio) this past Saturday (August 9, 2014) during the time Greenfield Historical Society volunteers Scott and Venus Andersen; Harold Schmidt; Patsy Smith; Gloria and
Jim Losey; John King; Shirley Shields; and Phil Harewood worked individually and in teams to clean, repair, and re-set as needed a number of gravestones in order to preserve not only the markers themselves, but their inscriptions for future generations.
