Exploring Almost Forgotten Gravesites in the Great State of Ohio

Dedicated to cemetery preservation in the great state of Ohio

"A cemetery may be considered as abandoned when all or practically all of the bodies have been Removed therefrom and no bodies have been buried therein for a great many years, and the cemetery has been so long neglected as entirely to lose its identity as such, and is no longer known, recognized and respected by the public as a cemetery. 1953 OAG 2978."

Milo H. Barnum (1843 - 1919) - Find A Grave Memorial

Spotlighting Milo H. Barnum, Civil War Veteran of the 103rd O.V.I. Co. "B", buried at the Bedford Cemetery in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

Many thanks to "Find A Grave" contributor "MHB" for posting this memorial and including two photographs of Milo H. Barnum that truly compliment the history of his early and later life.

His grave is marked with a small flat red granite marker that has become chipped along the edges of the stone.
