Exploring Almost Forgotten Gravesites in the Great State of Ohio

Dedicated to cemetery preservation in the great state of Ohio

"A cemetery may be considered as abandoned when all or practically all of the bodies have been Removed therefrom and no bodies have been buried therein for a great many years, and the cemetery has been so long neglected as entirely to lose its identity as such, and is no longer known, recognized and respected by the public as a cemetery. 1953 OAG 2978."

Featuring the Blog "History in Stone"

Whenever you visit "Exploring Almost Forgotten Gravesites in Ohio" please take a moment to view the blogs that appear on the right side bar.  I try to revise the list, 'weeding out' those that have few updates and replacing them with other blogs that are more active that bring current news or fresh stories.

I added a new blog today called "History in Stone" which is also a member of the "Association of Graveyard Rabbits" so you know it is gravestone and cemetery focused.

You'll see snippets from the latest posts under the blog titles here, so you can choose which ones you wish to read in full.

I ask my followers to please let me know about any gravestone and/or cemetery related blogs, particularly those relevant to Ohio, that are missing here.  I will be pleased to take a look at them and consider adding them for your reference.

So, please take a moment and enjoy some 'blog time' reading your favorites!
