Reporting an Endangered Cemetery -- Baptist (AKA Old Baptist) Cemetery in Sugar Creek Township, Stark County, Ohio


"This cemetery has not been used since before 1900. It is grown up with weeds but is fenced off. Inscriptions were from BLUE, HEALD, & PAXTON CEMETERY RECORDS. (Submitted by Evelyn Jessup – June 1978)"

The Baptist Cemetery is also known as the Old Baptist Cemetery.  There are 21 individuals listed as interred at this cemetery on "Find A Grave." 

Collins, Grant, Kilgore, Rogers and Welty are the surnames for burials at the Baptist Cemetery.
