Upcoming hands-on cemetery preservation workshop - June 4th - 9a.m. to 12:00p.m. at the Rugby Cemetery in Brownhelm, Lorain County, Ohio

"The Brownhelm Historical Association is sponsoring a gravestone cleaning workshop where you will learn how to properly and effectively clean and treat headstones. 

The training will be led by the BHA's Cemetery Restoration Crew.

The admission fee includes instruction as well as a small cleaning kit to take home and use when cleaning your own family headstones. The kit will include a plastic scraper, soft brush, wood skewer, wood craft stick, and a spray bottle of D/2 Biological Solution. Attendees should bring a water sprayer or watering can and a kneeling pad/small stool if needed.
