This newspaper story is about Mount Hope Cemetery in South Akron, Summit County, Ohio.  

One setback after another has befallen Mount Hope thwarting its chances and hope for a turnaround toward a brighter future.  It desperately needs routine maintenance to 'play catch up' with its neglected and largely overgrown grounds to return it to the well kept cemetery it once was.

There are 1,989 interments listed for Mount Hope Cemetery on "Find A Grave" with six outstanding gravestone photograph requests. It is 51% photographed at the present time.  

Spotlighting the "Virtual Cemetery of Madison Truro Stones Found Buried" by Brent Nimmo

The "Virtual Cemetery of Madison Truro Stones Found Buried" on "Find A Grave" has been created by Brent Nimmo. 

Brent has been a regular visitor to the Madison Truro Cemetery  in Franklin County, Ohio for several years.  Thus far, during his visits he has unearthed 26 gravestones.  To document these stones, Brent has created a "Virtual Cemetery" of the memorials that include photographs of these gravestones that he has taken following his removal of dirt, grass, and weeds in order to photograph them.  

A total of 91 interments are listed for Madison Truro Cemetery.

  

 Unless and until arrangements can be made and the resources found, these gravestones will remain as they are; lying in the ground and not standing tall as they should be.
