Butcher Cemetery (North Lewisburg, Champaign County, Ohio) in Decline

I visited the Butcher Cemetery last weekend and was disheartened to see that the grass was in need of mowing and more stones are now lying on the ground.  

I am posting some pictures including one of the cemetery sign which is now painted over. 

The fenced in area at the front of the cemetery is quite overgrown now.  I am working on trying to make the local 'powers-that-be' aware of the need for more care and maintenance at the Butcher Cemetery.
