"The Ghosts of Burton Historical Tour - 2012
The Ghosts of Burton Historical Tour - 2012 will take place on Saturday, October 20th and Saturday, October 27th, 2012.
Tour times are 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm, and 8:00 pm. Volunteer guides will lead you through Century Village and
our very old local graveyard, while you listen to historical stories of past lives and some local ghostly lore.
Each tour lasts about 2 1/2 hours. (Century Village is the Geauga Historical Society's historical village in Burton, Ohio.)
The tour includes historically accurate stories of the local area, some
good "ghost stories", and includes a shuttle bus ride
to the local graveyard. Get a good look at some very old grave
markers. A live paranormal investigation will be taking place in
one of the museum buildings. A light snack and
beverage is included. We will walk at an easy pace, covering about a
mile.
Some stops (including the shuttle bus) have a few stairs, so the tour is
not entirely handicapped accessible.
Pre-registration and pre-payment are necessary. The Ghosts of Burton Historical Tour generally sells out, so book early.

The cost is $18 per person. This tour is intended to be
"family friendly", but very small children may find it boring. This is NOT a "haunted house" tour, and we do not
create artificial cheap tricks for amusement.
