A friendly reminder that cemeteries are sacred grounds every day - even on days where the focus is on such things as total solar eclipses!

The solar eclipse of 2024, it targets Ohio in a prominent way this time around and that includes streaming through several of Ohio's cemeteries.  

Some cemeteries like Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland are holding fee-based events connected to it on April 8, 2024.

At this point it is not known if any cemeteries are closed off to the public on April 8, 2024, but please if you are planning to visit a cemetery in Ohio on that day particularly to view the Celestial Event, or to actually visit the cemetery and pay your respects while there, please remember cemeteries are sacred grounds to be respected in all ways on all days regardless of what might be going on around them.
