Spotlighting Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio

A feature story about the Riverside Cemetery appeared online on May 12, 2016 on Cleveland.com.  The story is also shared in both print and photographs in the Sun Newspapers today.  It is written by "Plain Dealer" writer, Grant Segall.  There are several photographs to enjoy viewing online that help tell the story of Riverside Cemetery's history and whet your appetite of what awaits the visitor to its hallowed grounds.

The Wait Continues for Ohio's Lawmakers to Make Decisions Regarding the Ohio Cemetery Law Task Force's Recommendations

It will be two years this coming September since the Ohio Cemetery Law Task Force concluded their year-long monthly meetings which included testimonies from several individuals and groups regarding various problematic issues plaguing Ohio's cemeteries and Native American burial grounds.  The task force then compiled all of the information from those meetings and presented their 260 page document of recommendations to Ohio's Governor, President of the Ohio Senate, and the Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives.

Since September of 2014, Cliff Rosenberger has replaced William G. Batchelder as Speaker of the House.  

From all resources I have heard from to date regarding the Ohio Cemetery Law Task Force's recommendations, there is no news to report about Ohio's lawmakers adopting any of those presented to them.
