"When the city's North Cemetery was closed in the 1880s, most of the interments were moved to Green Lawn. The county bought several lots in Section R of the cemetery for these re-burials. But there has never been a dedicated monument to them. One will finally be dedicated. It is a statue of a wolf because our early settlers called the east bank of the Scioto, Wolf's Ridge."
